On June 23, our KryPSS (Circular Hygiene Product Service System) project got off to a successful start with a kick-off event in Kaiserslautern.
The project will run from June 2026 to May 2029 and is part of the funding initiative “Global Value Creation: Rethinking and Perspectives for a Circular Future (CircularGlowUp).” It is funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology, and Space (BMFTR) and managed by the Project Management Agency Karlsruhe (PTKA) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
Together with our partners in the WELLGO Group—the Chair of Manufacturing Technology and Operations Management at RPTU Kaiserslautern (FBK), the Institute for Technology and Work e.V. (ITA), and es:saar GmbH—we would like to work closely with other stakeholders along the value chain
- develop and test circular business models,
- identify and reflect on the necessary skills and values among employees, as well as
- Implement technological solutions to put the circular economy into practice.
The kick-off provided an opportunity to get to know each other in person and to lay out the next steps in the project.
We are looking forward to the next three years of the project.
